Duncanville Project Graduation is an all night celebration for our district's graduating high school seniors. The event is alcohol and drug free. It is sponsored and planned by a volunteer organization made up of parents, teachers, and community members. Project Graduation provides a safe alternative for our graduates. It keeps all of the graduates off the road, prevents any of them from becoming an accident statistic, and allows their parents to rest easy knowing their son/daughter is safely celebrating.
Duncanville Project Graduation is music, dancing, games, food, karaoke, caricature drawings, casino games, and lots of prizes. Drawings for prizes are held throughout the night. The biggest prizes are for those who stay all night. Seniors must be present to win. To provide all of these activities, the volunteers need to raise over $25,000.
This event is not a lock-in but a lock-out. This is to say there is an entrance deadline and then the doors are locked. After the deadline, no one else may enter the party, but those that wish may leave.
